Quite a few people have rung me week asking me to notarise a letter of invitation. I have advised them that notarised documents are not a requirement of the UK government and, therefore, not of their embassies around the world. What that means is that you do not need to get a letter of invitation notarised. You don't really even need to get someone else to write it for you. If you write a good letter, that will be all you need.
There is guidance as to what can go into such a letter here: https://iasservices.org.uk/how-to-write-a-letter-of-invitation-for-a-uk-visa/
Also, although what follows is very specific example, concerning a student at a University, you can get an idea of what an invitation letter might contain here:
If you still need help, please get in touch but I wanted to give you the chance to help yourself without having to spend money that you can avoid spending.
